Welcome To Mulberry Community Project
| The Houses |
Mulberry Community Project is an independant non-commissioned Supported Housing Project which provides abstinent based recovery housing for those in recovery from alcohol/drug misuse by providing secure housing, support and encouragement. We believe that not only is recovery possible but with the correct support is also achievable by those who really want it. We are not about Treatment but we are about Recovery.
NEWS HOT OFF THE PRESS!!!!
Had a brilliant day yesterday when Clive Grunshaw the Lancashire Police Commissioner, Sam Cudworth his assistant, Karon Brown Horizon and Gary Benson Horizon came to join us for a few hours. They had a chat with various people, sat in at the start of the BADD group and I think were impressed with what they heard and then we went to the low dose house where we stayed for about an hour. There was good open conversations taking place about the residents in there and about Mulberry. It was very encouraging to see just how much Clive took on board and to see that he was genuinely interested in the work and the people. It was a good day and the winner was Recovery. Massive thanks to those mentioned above and to the guys in the project that were open and honest about themselves and their lives.
We currently have 8 abstinent based houses a 1 low dose house..
WE CURRENTLY HAVE 0 FEMALE VACANCIES AND 4 MALE VACANCIES
